With the new MatchWare Shared Workspace, collaborate on your mind maps easier than ever!
This is perfect for online brainstorming sessions, group work, and project management. Simply upload a MindView file directly through your desktop application to the Shared Workspace and share it with other account owners.

- Sharing a file through the Shared Workspace - Users can Share a MindView file online and invite user to access that file, and read or write access to the file.
MindView’s Focus mode ensures that your map will be easily legible to all viewers. Simply click on the branch you want to spotlight, and your map is instantly centered on that branch. The zoom factor is also adjusted automatically for maximum visibility.
True Multi-User Editing

Once you have shared a mind map, members can work on it simultaneously. You will instantly see when other members add branches and other elements to the mind map, making the brainstorming session very engaging!
Locking and granting rights to branches
*Only available through Shared Workspace
 MindView 4 allows users to lock particular branches when sharing files through the shared workspace. The ability to lock certain users out of specific branches gives the owner the power to control the flow of work, the allocation of tasks and adds a safe guard to ensure that the file is accessed, updated and collaborated on by the rightful users.
Automated distribution of tasks to resources
MindView 4 allows you to automatically distribute tasks to resources either through the Shared Workspace or through Outlook simply by specifying the resources email addresses. Easily track task status by synchronizing your Shared Workspace Task list or your Outlook Task list with the mind map.
- Task Distribution through the Shared Workspace - The advantage of using the Shared Workspace is that it is independent of any email system. Tracking is easier as tasks are grouped by projects and not stored in one folder as in Outlook. The Shared Workspace is a secure web based system that can be hosted by MatchWare, or installed and hosted by your organization.
- Task Distribution through Outlook – With a few clicks, a document owner can export their MindView 4 file to MS Outlook, transferring all of the allocated Tasks from the MindView file to their MS Outlook Task list. Task can be distributed via Outlook, updated and synchronized with the MindView file to ensure that you and your team stay on track and meet deadlines.
Track Changes
 MindView 4 now comes with a tracking function which provides the owner of a shared document with easy to view information about what other users have changed. Selecting an item in the list of changes highlights the corresponding branch in the mind map so that the change is easily identified.
Enhanced Project Management Reports

MindView has made it easy to upload your project to SharePoint. Simply select Save online and choose SharePoint. Just enter your SharePoint information the first time you log in and MindView will do the rest.

Microsoft Office 2010 Interface
MindView 4 comes with the new MS Office 2010 interface and new map styles to make your mind map sharper than ever before. MindView's ribbon looks and feels like you are working in MS Office 2010, so there's nothing new to learn. Each tab contains the relevant tools required to perform those functions allowing any user to easily find what feature they want, when the need it.

Simplified User Interface
By activating the new Simplified User Interface,
MindView 4 minimizes the number of tools available in the
ribbon, providing only the most frequently used tools in an
easy to access system. This is perfect for beginners or
students new to mind mapping. 
New Mind Map Styles
MindView 4 comes with 6 new styles that have been optimized for easier use. Each style can be further customized to meet your needs so you can design the right look for your project every time.
Formatting of Branch Data
MindView 4 now allows you to format branch data. Customize font styles and colors, use bold or italics, ensuring your important data is understood by any audience.
Improved picture placement
It is now possible to place the branch picture either above, to the left or to the right of the Branch text. This feature combined with the new map styles allows user to customize the look and feel of the mind map to better visualize their projects.
Export Options
Enhanced MS Office Integration
MindView 4’s MS Office integration has been greatly improved. Select
from a number of new MS Word templates and include all of the important
Project Management branch data in the MS Word Export. Enjoy the
enhanced MS PowerPoint import, Task Distribution through MS Outlook
and optimized MS Excel and MS Project support.

a few simple clicks. Choose from a number
of new, professionally designed templates or
import your own from MS Word. Include all

Export to PDF
MindView 4 now allows you to export your mind map as a PDF. Choose
from a number of professionally designed templates or import your own
from Microsoft Word. Include all of the branch data that has been captured

Powerful New Features
Enhanced Tablet PC Support
Want to draw a mind map by hand but don’t
want to re-create it in a software program?
Do you want to get more out of your Tablet
PC or Interactive Whiteboard? Now you
can with MindView 4’s enhanced Tablet PC
support. Use standard gestures and your
input device to start writing or drawing on the
free space available in the view. MindView
will interpret these as branch text or main
branches and sub-branches, while the Ink
Tools allow you to add interactive content to
your branches.
Record and Insert Sound File
The new Sound File feature allows a user to capture and
record any audio commentary and include that as an
attachment on a mind map branch. Describe products
or processes, scenarios or alternatives, and capture that
information on-the-fly using the new Sound File feature in
MindView 4. Access and playback the recording from the
branch or include it in one of the exports, ensuring that
you have all of the important data organized and ready for
review. 
Presentation Mode
The presentation mode allows you to present your mind
map in a linear fashion focusing on 1 branch at a time, with
options for branch level display.
