Mediator 9
Service Pack 1 (for all versions with builds smaller than 120)
IMPORTANT:
You should not install a Service Pack if you are close to a deadline and don't have any specific problems. We recommend that you check your projects after applying a Service Pack.
Please read carefully the description of the Service Pack before downloading it to make sure that it corresponds to the license you have bought.
This Service Pack should only be applied to versions of Mediator 9 installed from the original CD.
- Make sure Mediator is NOT running.
- Download the .msp file from the link below.
- Double click to run the program.
The program will execute and install itself.
- Once complete, you can start Mediator.
- Verify it has been updated:
Click the Mediator Button to open the Mediator Menu, then click Mediator Options and choose the Resources tab.
Please note that the position of all panels and other settings such as the list of recently opened files will revert to their default values after installing the Service Pack.
If you are experiencing problems when installing the service pack releases, please try uninstalling the entire product and reinstall from the original CD before applying the service pack(s).
English Mediator 9
This Service Pack is for the English Mediator 9 only.
If the Service Pack is applied successfully, the build number will be updated to 120.

To patch the admin installation of Mediator:

to admin .msi file>

This Service Pack corrects the following:
Service Pack 1:
- Memory leak problems occurring in Design mode, HTML and Flash export have been fixed.
- Ribbon: A Help button is now available on the ribbon.
- Ribbon: Various issues connected with the display of the ribbon have been fixed.
- Docking one or more panels as tabbed dialogs no longer causes Mediator to freeze in some circumstances.
- The problem whereby PNG pictures with alpha channel sometimes appeared with an small magenta frame has been fixed.
- Pictures can now also be scrolled in Design mode as expected.
- Text object: Various issues concerning text editing and hypertext objects have now been fixed.
- The rotation of Drawing objects has been improved.
- Drag & Drop action: This action no longer causes Mediator to freeze in some circumstances.
- User-defined macros are now saved in the correct user folder.
- HTML export: The system variable @ThisObject is now supported in HTML animations.
- HTML export: The Open Document action is now available in HTML mode.
- HTML export: Files now re-use the same filenames (as long as no new objects have been added), which means that the Smart Upload feature can now also be used as expected.
- Actions now all work as expected in the Runtime Viewer.
- Windows Vista: Various issues, including the "glass" look, have now been fixed.
- The problem whereby some Mediator 7 documents were not converted properly to Mediator 9 documents has now been fixed.
- Miscellaneous language issues in the non-English versions of Mediator have been fixed.
- Miscellaneous stability and performance improvements have been made.
